Hi, my name is Yolande Hung. I live and work in Hout Bay in Cape Town, South Africa.
I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and its complex workings and have a background in Tui Na (Chinese therapeutic massage with acupressure, and bonesetting).
I always felt there were “missing links” when working on bodies where issues couldn’t be resolved, and I found some clients were continually booking appointments, but their body would “go back” to the same problem time and again.
I then went on to certify as a TRE® Provider and study the fascia system.
When I started working on the fascial system combined with working closely with rebalancing the nervous system and resolving trauma, I realised I found another key to unresolved issues in some of those bodies - and then added MSTR®.
I have seen amazing moments of joy and surprise when clients feel something different, as soon as after just one treatment, to finding after a while that their body has shifted in the way it moves and feels in the “scar site” area, which has then resolved other problems with stiffness, tightness, misalignment, etc.
In my practice I focus on a holistic approach, with careful attention to nutrition as well as physical work that might be needed, not just easing symptoms. I try to help people find balance in their lives and freedom of movement in their bodies once more. I find I tend (because my client base is largely referral based) to get clients who come to me when there is a puzzle that needs to be solved, where there is a complex issue with chronic pain or chronic illness, and in many cases have tried just about everything.
I love this work, and I hope to share MSTR® with you in an in-person or online training with you soon.
Best wishes
Yolande
